Watchful Eye Daycare currently accepts infants 6 weeks to 5 years of age in Gambrills, Maryland but serving the surrounding areas of Crofton, Odenton and Bowie. We offer a comprehensive preschool curriculum where we strive to cultivate young minds. We are trained and hold a higher standard for quality child care. Our program goes beyond licensing requirements to provide an environment for learning that children can be excited about. We offer an approved curriculum by the Maryland State Department of Education.
Infant ProgramsWe understand the concerns of new parents who need to leave their babies in the care of others. We accept infants as young as 6 weeks, and our classroom ratio for infants are two adults for every six infants.
MilestonesOur team does milestone assessments to ensure your child performs within the normal range. We believe that early intervention is the key to a child's success.
Toddler ProgramsThis is a critical time for the development of a toddler. We focus on supporting your child's learning by stimulating reasoning, gross and fine motor skills. The child is learning how to respond to different expressions, words and sounds. We promote lots of singing, dancing, and talking to help encourage the children to express themselves.
Preschool OwlsOur preschool program is structured for ages 2 to 4 and is set up with a curriculum approved by MSDE. By the time your child is ready to enter kindergarten, they will be school ready. Many of our activities include:• Science• Music & Art• Language Arts • Math School-Age CareWe offer before and after-school care for children over age 5. Transportation is also provided to and from schools within our community.
NutritionOur infant program requires that parents supply breast milk and/or formula for their babies. We offer support for nursing mothers with a Breastfeeding Specialist. We provide breakfast, am snacks, lunch, and pm snacks.
